What is your signature?

Ever since painting has been my conductor. Instinctively I imagine creating beauty by touching a face and getting inspired by the personality of the model. I always think “ in color ”

What do you find fun about your job?

The endless possibilities of creating, for sure! The magic in beauty and fashion! I love to exchange, communicate with the team and getting inspired by the atmosphere of the studio. A great teamwork is very fulfilling and makes me happy.

What inspires you?

I’m passionate for colors, textures, light, sounds, vibes... whatever the means to express art. I’m inspired by every little detail in everything I see, but first of all visual art and beauty in nature.

What do you see as modern in today’s make up ?

I think that simplicity is the new trend. In the last years technology made such a fast progress that it got extremely important to focus on the essentials. Skin is actually an important part. Whether I create natural or artistic beauty, I believe that the character of a face has to express unique individuality.

And the job that you won’t forget?

It was a shooting in the desert of Namibia. The nature was extremely strong and such beautiful. We had very little time to shoot a lot of different and creative looks. The inspiration I felt there was incredible. The most impressive thing was the wildness and the sound of silence when suddenly you get connected to the whole universe.
