What is your signature?

Organic shapes with natural simplicity. I’m detail-minded, every hair gets my attention. I enjoy working with wigs and hair pieces, they open up amazing opportunities. I like the fact that there is no limit for me in my job. There is less and less retouching being done today and video is a trend to stay, no one will be able to hide behind a good retouch anymore, that suits me fine.

What is the most complicated task ever asked of you?

Long story, but I can say is that it’s quite impossible to get 35 models ready for a show, in 2 hours, in a 4 m2 room, with just one chair and no electricity. Thanks to an amazing team, we made it work!

What do you find fun about your job?

Everything to do with hair is fun to me ! I particularly love creating pictures/videos and art in general… Art and music are so important: they connect us to our feelings, set our mood, inspire us… My job is not a job to me, I just happen to be making a living out of passion.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by everything and anyone I meet on my way. I love fashion, History, art, cultures, religion and anything my eyes find beautiful. Teamwork is also always inspiring to me.

What do you see as modern in today’s Hair stylism ?

Today’s hair style is effortless. We all want to look like we did nothing, just woke up looking like that. Women are much more empowered and it shows in current hair and clothes trends. Women have short hair whilst men have long hair and we almost wear the same clothes.

And the job that you won’t forget?

There are so many amazing jobs that I will never forget. I feel so lucky. I’ve been to so many beautiful locations, and with so many amazing people! But if I need to name just one, it will have to be a trip to Iceland, with Vogue. I was surrounded by insanely beautiful nature and really talented people. We made such a beautiful story and had so much fun!
